Mylanta 2Go Antacid Original provides fast relief from indigestion, heartburn, upset stomach, flatulence, and wind pain.

Antacids work fast to rapidly neutralise excess stomach acid already present in your stomach, relieving indigestion, heartburn and upset stomach. These tablets help to deliver fast, effective relief from the discomfort of indigestion.

The anti-flatulent called simethicone quickly relieves wind pain by dissipating excess gas bubbles in the stomach. Wind pain is caused by excessive amounts of gases or air in the stomach or intestine. It can lead to distension of the organs and general discomfort. Symptoms include bloating, flatulence, and burping.

What is Heartburn?

Heartburn or reflux occurs when stomach acid rises into the oesophagus (food pipe). You can experience it as a burning sensation behind the breastbone, as nausea and even regurgitation of food or liquid.

Heartburn can be caused by consumption of spicy or fatty foods, change in posture, tight clothing, physical exertion, pregnancy, alcohol, and smoking.

By reducing the amount of acid that the stomach produces, MYLANTA minimises the risk of excess stomach acid flowing back up the oesophagus (food pipe) to cause heartburn.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains: Magnesium Hydroxide 200mg, Aluminium Hydroxide 200mg, Simethicone 20mg. Free from lactose, gluten, and Saccharin sodium. Contains Mannitol. Mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some people.

Do not use Mylanta:

• Within 2 hours of taking any other medication. MYLANTA antacids may reduce the effectiveness of these medications.
• If carton seal is broken or missing, or if tablet foil is broken

Ask your doctor before use:

• If you have been taking Mylanta continuously for 14 days
• If for children under 12 years
• If you have been vomiting
• If you have been passing blood
• If you have kidney disease
