Welcome to The Second Chapter Book Exchange Program at Nena Book and Gift Store. This in-store initiative lets you trade gently used books for store credit. Help us keep great stories circulating and earn while you do it!

📍 Visit Us In-Store to Trade BooksEligibility

• Open to individuals aged 18 years and older.
• Customers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What We Accept

✔️ Accepted:

• All Fiction and non-fiction titles
• Children's and young adult (YA) books
• Classic literature

❌ Not Accepted:

• Textbooks, manuals, encyclopedias
• Magazines, newspapers, or workbooks
• Books with damage, mold, or excessive markings

Evaluation & Credit Value

• Books are evaluated on-site by Nena Book and Gift Store staff.
• Store credit value: $1.00 to $5.00 AUD per book based on condition and popularity.
• Staff decisions on credit value and acceptance are final.

Credit Terms

• Credits are valid for 6 months from issue date.
• Credits are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
• Credits may only be used online toward books.
• Can be stacked for future use but cannot be stacked above $15*.

* This helps support the ongoing operations of the program/business and ensures its sustainability

• Get an extra $2 bonus credit when you trade in 5 or more books in one visit!

Program Use

• Book limits may apply per visit.
• This program is for personal use only (not bulk/commercial).

Changes & Availability

• Exchange can ocurr in-store only.
• Nena Bookstore may modify or discontinue the program at any time.
